Natural Soaked nuts and Granola

Soaked Nuts

By soaking nuts and seeds, you minimize or eliminate the nutritional inhibitors and other toxic substances as they are absorbed into the water. Without the inhibitors and toxic substances, the nutrients of the nuts and seeds are more readily available for absorption

200g Mixed and toasted Soaked Nuts

200g Coconut flakes

50g of Mixed Seeds

4 to 5 pitted chopped dates

25ml of melted extra virgin coconut Oil

1 tsp of Mixed Spice


Chop the nuts into the desired size and mix with the other ingredients.

Melt the coconut oil in a frying pan add the mixed spice and mix and generally fry the ingredients together.

Lay on a baking tray and generally toast for 10 to 15 minutes at 120 degrees. I move it around every 6 to 7 minutes.

I will be using this granola both as a breakfast and a snack food during my cleanse.
