It seems now a lifetime ago now, but at the turn of the century I met someone who would change the not only my career choice, but also my health.

That woman was a Colon Hydrotherapist named Kate and in the space of 7 days she introduced me to something I am not sure I had known up until that point.

I suspect I was at that point in my life like many other students are today, living just for today. At 22, you can pretty much eat what you want without gaining weight or feeling too bad. But after 7 days with Kate, I experienced something I had not experienced before and the only way I know how to describe the feeling was to tell you what I told others then and that is, ‘I had never known what true health was.’

I don’t remember a time before then that I had ever woken up at 5am without forcing myself and been wide awake.

I stopped sneezing after having hay fever and sinus my entire life, I could breathe again.

My energy was boundless, late nights and early morning I achieved with ease.

Psychologically I was clear, focused and at peace. I had found my life’s purpose.

I always knew that I was a healer and that I was destined to help others, so after doing this epic 7 day cleanse with Kate, it wasn’t a stretch for me to decide to become a colon therapist and to help other achieve this level of ‘wellness’.

📷 It’s been many years since that epic week changed my life. Now I hold the title of the first Clinically certified colon therapist in Africa and I am an internationally certified trainer and mentor of colon therapists worldwide, but I will never forget the way I felt then.
